It's been a long time since I've been able to get in here. Life does have a habit of getting in the way of play time. Hope you've been doing well and are happy. Here's a little tutorial that I put together. I hope you like it! (Yours will be bigger but I had to shrink it to fit here)

You will need Paint Shop Pro and Animation Shop.
Open paint Shop Pro and create a new file that is 400x200, if your name is larger you will need a larger canvas. Make sure you give your canvas a transparent background. This is for your name. Choose a font of your choice. I used a bright orange colour to match the tag back, with a stroke that is green. When you have beveled and played with your name, go to your layers palette and and right click on the vector layer and change it to a raster layer. Then merge your layers by going to Layers/Merge/Merge Visible. Save your name and make it an animation file.

Now we are ready for animation shop.
In animation shop browse and choose the tag back. It has the surfboard with the pier on it. You will see that I have already duplicated it 12 times for you. You will need all 12 frames. Also it is quite large. Don't worry we will be resizing at the end of our tutorial.

Now find the name file that you created and duplicate it 12 times. Click on the name to high light it. It will have an edge that is bright blue. Then go to, Edit/Duplicate Selected. Do this until you have 12 frames. After you have your name duplicated 12 times, go to it/Select all Then Go to Edit/Copy.
Click on your tag back and put the name you have created under the pier in the position of the red circle show below. Don't worry the waving frog's foot will show the name.

Next browse for the sitting frog. He is large so we are going to resize him. Go to Animation/Resize Animation Chose to resize 85 percent, Bicubic resample. He is already 12 frames so all you have to do now is, Edit/Select all, then Go to Edit/Copy. Click on your tag back and Edit/Select all. Edit/Paste/Into selected Frame. Position him on the pier in the position shown by the red circle on the picture below.

Now you are ready to add the surfing frog. He is already 12 frames. We won't be resizing him because his size is perfect. I know it looks like a large area around the frog but it will be fine. Just follow the same example above to add him to your tag back. Edit/Select all, then Go to Edit/Copy. Click on your tag back and go to Edit/Select all. Edit,Paste/Into selected Frame. Position the surfing frog in the area shown by the red circle shown in the example below.

Now we can resize the tag back. Go to Animation/Resize Animation/resize by 85%
and Bicubic Resample.

It's time to work with Frame Properties.
Click on the 1 frame of the animation.
Go to Animation/Frame Properties
Set it at 60
The 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11, frames of the animation are as follows.
Go to Animation/Frame Properties
Set it at 30
Click on the Last frame number 12 and go to Animation/Frame Properties
Set it to 120.
We are finished with Frame Properties. You can take a peek at your animation anytime by going to View/View Animation.

Optimization I used is as follows:
File/Optimization Wizard
Click Animated Gif File and Replace the current animation with the optimized
version.
Click Next
Move the lever up to: Better Image Quality
Click Customize
Number of Colours. 255
Click: Optimized Median Cut
Reduce colours by: Nearest Colour
Click: The tab at the top that is called, 'Optimizations'
Check all boxes on all 5 options.
Click ok.
Then click next, next, and next.
(Feel free to use any optimization you like. This is just the optimization that worked for me and that didn't ruin the look of the animation.)

Name it and Save. It will Say, compuServe Graphics Interchange.gif
